This is a place that you cannot miss. To get there, you can choose to take the Via Sacra route, or to climb the wonderful staircase that characterizes this Sanctuary. Up there, at the Senhora da Guia Viewpoint, you will find an expanse of beauty between the sea and the fossil cliff, with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic coast between São Bartolomeu do Mar and Viana do Castelo. In addition, you also have the possibility to explore some monuments such as the Jóia-Monge cave, surrounded by legends and myths, or stop for a pleasant picnic. Also, don’t miss the opportunity to appreciate the Chapel of Senhora da Guia, which formerly served as a lighthouse for all sailors.
