New Year’s Eve – Guimarães

Guimarães is preparing to welcome 2025 with an unforgettable celebration in the Historic Centre, at Largo da Oliveira and Praça de São Tiago, on 31 December. The city, increasingly sought after as a New Year’s Eve destination in northern Portugal, promises a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of Minho.

The event includes a video mapping show that transforms the historic centre into an immersive experience of light and sound, live music by Os Azeitonas and sets by DJ Ana Isabel Arroja that will keep the party going until the early hours. At the same time, the Arts and Creativity Platform will be a meeting point for young people, with performances throughout the night.
