Inaugurated in 2004, Apulia Praia Hotel has years of memories and changes that, today, translate into the history of this place. However, the Hotel’s path in the world of accommodation began much earlier, when, in the 60s, after a trip to Algarve, the later founder and owner of the Hotel, noticed the lack of inns and hostels throughout the country, to host travelers. So, upon his return to the north, he decided to open a guesthouse that would comfortably and safely accommodate all those who decided to explore Portugal and, consequently, our region. With the growth and development of tourism, particularly in Apúlia – a location renowned for its beach full of iodine – the need to improve accommodation conditions arose, which led, a few years later, to the requalification and modernization of what is now a hotel unit.
